“There’s nothing quite like the sweet sound of Southern gospel music echoing through these gorgeous mountains this time of year during my National Southern Gospel & Harvest Celebration at Dollywood,” Dolly Parton said. “I grew up singing in church, so Southern gospel music takes me back to a truly special place in my life. I’m so glad to have all these talented artists visit Dollywood to share the beauty of their music with folks.”

Dollywood, appropriately decked out in its most festive harvest decorations, also is the home for many gifted artisans visiting from across the country. These talented crafters showcase fascinating demonstrations ranging from banjo and fiddle making to weaving, woodworking and storytelling. Guests can purchase many of the unique, handmade items, such as pottery, quilts, paintings, glassware and much more.
Finally, the Dollywood menu changes to reflect the offerings of a bountiful Smoky Mountain harvest. Park guests can find a variety of traditional food items featuring ingredients like crisp apples and freshly-harvested sweet corn. Smoked ribs and turkey legs, as well as herb-roasted chicken, fried green tomatoes and a harvest quiche are just a sampling of the items. To complete the meal, old-fashioned apple pie, cinnamon sugar doughnuts and a variety of flavored milkshakes are only a few of the available choices.
