DUBLIN--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Amartus, a developer of automated service delivery software for network service providers, today announced that it will first demonstrate its multi-vendor software-defined services (SDS) orchestration software, called Chameleon SDS™, the latest solution built on the company’s unique dynamic programmable Chameleon OS platform, at the Ethernet and SDN Expo, Oct. 2-3, at the Javits Center in New York.
“I look forward to showing carriers what Chameleon SDS can do and engaging them during my panel discussion.”
Also at the expo, Amartus partner Transition Networks will demonstrate its Converge™ EMS platform, an MEF Carrier Ethernet (CE) 2.0 standards-based, service and resource manager based on Chameleon SDS. The company will demonstrate “simplicity deployed” with Converge™ EMS and its new CE 2.0 demarcation devices and access switches to support next-generation service delivery workflows from access to edge.
Chameleon SDS enables network operators to deliver on-demand, elastic network services over their current networks while providing a smooth migration to emerging software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) technologies. Chameleon SDS provides automation from a single, unified platform, enabling service providers to shorten the time needed to design new services and automate their provisioning and operation so they can be turned up in a matter of minutes.
“There’s a wave of technology change hitting carriers as they plan to adopt SDN, CE 2.0 and other technologies. Automated service delivery should be the first step for carriers because it lets them quickly monetize these new technologies,” said Michael Kearns, Amartus CEO. “I look forward to showing carriers what Chameleon SDS can do and engaging them during my panel discussion.”
CEO Presents On Automated Services Delivery
On the first day of the show, Kearns will participate in a panel presentation titled: “Linking Network Automation and Orchestration to End-to-End Service Delivery: The New Back Office.”
Kearns will share his perspective on how network operators can software define their network services and operations, enabling them to tap new revenue streams as businesses make the large scale shift to the cloud. The panel will be in classroom 3D03/3D10 at 4:50 pm and will be moderated by Caroline Chappell, Senior Analyst, Heavy Reading.
The Ethernet & SDN Expo is co-locating with Interop New York and will bring together 40+ service and technology experts from 73+ service providers worldwide. Amartus will be located in booth #E158. For more information, visit http://www.ethernetsdnexpo.com.
