FAIRFIELD, Iowa--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) reported that the 1,000 plus attendees at its Ignite 2013 conference in Scottsdale included a celebration among 112 rep-advisors for completing this year’s Vision, Focus, and Recharge practice management coaching programs. The invitation only event was hosted at the Westin Kierland.
“Momentum is building as Cambridge’s practice management coaching and networking programs for 2014 are now almost fully booked”
“Momentum is building as Cambridge’s practice management coaching and networking programs for 2014 are now almost fully booked,” said Dan Sullivan, Cambridge’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “It is really energizing to bring together new participants with veterans and our practice management coaching team as they build personal connections and share best practices across their independent businesses.”
*For the first half of 2013, participants in the Focus program
averaged 25 percent higher GDC than non-participants.
Cambridge takes a unique, customized approach with its Practice Management solutions and focuses on adapting coaching tools and resources to meet the needs of the independent rep-advisor as a business owner and entrepreneur. In contrast to many canned coaching programs available throughout the industry, Cambridge’s Practice Management is designed so that every interaction is customized to the rep-advisor. The fluid nature of these programs ensure relevance to business and personal goals for the rep-advisors as the programs will change in step with changes in individual objectives.
“We design and facilitate our practice management solutions to be dynamic and customizable,” said Barry Schmidt, Cambridge’s Vice President of Practice Management. “Our passion for independence is reflected in our efforts to best support every rep-advisor as a unique business owner, therefore we avoid preset ideas in order to focus more fully on each rep-advisor in terms of their goals. Our coaching programs are based on a series approach all built from the rep-advisor perspective around the concept of their road to success.”
At Cambridge, ‘Your Road to Success’ is designed as a four- step program, but given diverse business models and a broad range of individual objectives, rep-advisors are encouraged to define their distinct program path. Each of the four steps are highlighted as follows:
1. Roadmap to Revenue – a one-on-one consulting engagement for specific business obstacles
2. RPM Vision – an interactive year-long program defining business models and value propositions
3. RPM Focus – a collaborative year-long program to fine-tune strategic plans and goals
4. RPM Recharge – a semi-annual networking event moderated by practice management coaches
“It is important for rep-advisors, and our coaches, to continually assess and refine goals based on actual experience,” said Schmidt. “Self-assessment and adjustments are critical to being able to consistently step forward positively, capitalize on opportunities, and achieve personal and professional success.”
Cambridge also announced its new mentoring program, Synergy Exchange, is now open to all interested rep-advisors. Synergy Exchange was first launched as part of Cambridge’s engagement with women advisors. Based on initial enthusiasm and success, the program access is expanding to all Cambridge rep-advisors and this formal mentoring program is moderated by Cambridge’s practice management team.
* These results may not be the experiences of other Focus program participants and results are not guaranteed.
