The 2013 Independent Research in Responsible Investment (IRRI) survey was conducted by Thomson Reuters Extel and SRI-CONNECT.com.

Additionally, asset managers recognized GMI Ratings for its client relations and placed it among the top three in SRI (socially responsible investing) research. Two of GMI’s research leads, ESG Research Head, Kimberly Gladman, and Chief Analyst, Ric Marshal, were ranked first and second, respectively, as best individual analysts for corporate governance research, while Michelle Lamb and Shauna Morrison were also recognized. Executive Director, Howard Sherman, and EMEA client relations manager, Joshua Kendall, were named for their client relations work.
