NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Multi-Housing News announced the winners of the 2013 MHN Excellence Awards on Friday, Sept. 20 at a cocktail reception at 75 Wall-Residences Atop The Andaz. The event was sponsored by Yardi and by the property’s developer, The Hakimian Organization, which hosted tours of its office-to-residential conversion in Manhattan’s Financial District. The notable property boasts interiors designed by Rockwell Group.

David Woodward, President of CompassRock Real Estate, took home the Gold in the Multi-Housing Executive of the Year category; The Michaels Organization won for Special Achievement: Social Responsibility; Prometheus Real Estate Group was named Best Property Management Company (Gold). Entries were judged by a panel of prominent multifamily experts: Dr. Rosemary Carucci Goss, Residential Property Management Advisory Board Professor of Housing at Virginia Tech University; Stephanie Moore Hager, Principal, Moore Design Group; Anup K. Misra, Senior Vice President of Development at Wood Partners; and Bill Brake, Vice President, Related Management Company. The judges looked at a number of criteria—tailored to specific categories—including financial performance, customer service, resident satisfaction and design excellence. Bathroom fixture manufacturer Duravit partnered with MHN to sponsor the judges’ dinner.
