Jacob has previously led Sony VAIO’s PC messaging and monetization platform while at Sony Electronics.

Jacob’s main responsibility at Fortumo will be furthering relationships with existing customers including Microsoft, EA, Barnes & Noble and Rovio, as well as establishing new partnerships. “As the US and European mobile software and services markets mature, the next wave of rapid revenue growth is going to come from unlocking the 3 billion customers who have mobile phones but don’t have credit cards,” said Jacob Hauskens.
