RIVERSIDE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Chris Phillips is named vice president and general manager of Yardney Water Management Systems, Inc. in a move planned since he began with the company in 2004. Phillips’ father, Ken Phillips, is president and CEO of Yardney, the first company dedicated to water quality filtration systems for agricultural and greenhouse applications. Since its start in 1965, Ken Phillips guided Yardney’s expansion in water filtration to include process industries, municipal applications, food processing, HVAC applications and the plastics and metal industries. Chris Phillips, who holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University, is expected to further grow the company while maintaining its core technologies.

Phillips joined Yardney in 2004 as manufacturing technical support. Since 2007, he has served as operations manager.
