BURLINGTON, Mass.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--IHM Services Company, MEDITECH’s collaborative vendor for certified Meaningful Use reporting, concurrent review and infection surveillance, announced it will launch a new “lunch and learn” webinar series titled “Meaningful Use Stage 2 Gotchas.” The monthly series, hosted by IHM’s resident Meaningful Use (MU) expert, Dr. Paulette Di Angi, will be held on the last Thursday of each month from 12:00-12:30 EST and will uncover issues, considerations and myths around MU Stage 2 that hospitals need to be aware of in order to achieve successful attestation.
“MU represents a significant process change that will affect many healthcare workers on many levels. However, this new manner of compliance reporting will not only ensure that hospitals receive incentive payments, but also that they ultimately have a process that drives optimal outcomes for patient populations.”
“Meaningful Use promises many benefits to hospitals, but the time requirements and stress on hospitals to comply cannot be underestimated, and these stresses will only increase as MU progresses from Stage 1 to Stage 2,” said Di Angi, chief clinical information officer for IHM Services. “MU represents a significant process change that will affect many healthcare workers on many levels.
