ROSEVILLE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Golden State Collision Repair Centers hosted their 9th Annual The First Tee Golf Invitational on September 16, 2013 at the Serrano Country Club in a benefit for The First Tee of Greater Sacramento (TFTGS). Golden State Collision Repair Centers and event co-sponsors have successfully raised more than $400,000 for The First Tee of Greater Sacramento over the past nine years.

The First Tee of Greater Sacramento evolved from the success of the Sacramento Area Youth Golf Association (SAY Golf). The First Tee of Greater Sacramento is a youth development organization that teaches life skills and core values to youth through the game of golf. The First Tee of Greater Sacramento’s programs have led the way with character education classes, youth golf clinics, programs for the disabled, and a competitive golf tour that has developed players for high school, college and professional golf programs. TFTGS reaches over 6,000 youth annually in its various program and initiatives.
Golden State Collision Repair Centers also hosted a sponsor reception featuring honorary chairperson Doug Sanders, winner of twenty championships on the regular PGA tour. A post-tournament reception featured special recognition of the numerous tournament sponsors and a special endorsement of The First Tee of Greater Sacramento by Doug Sanders.
