Using a patented process, Corazonas’ snacks are infused with plant sterols, which are proven in more than 140 clinical studies to fight heart disease by lowering cholesterol. Plant sterols, also known as phytosterols, are plant-based compounds that occur naturally in fruit, vegetables, legumes, whole-grain products and most vegetable oils, but usually at levels too low to affect LDL cholesterol. By adding plant sterols to other foods at beneficial levels, such as Corazonas snacks, they can help lower blood cholesterol and reduce risk of coronary heart disease.
Corazonas Foods are available at natural food and grocery retailers nationwide, including Meijer, Safeway, Vons, Fred Meyer, Costco Wholesale, Vitamin Shoppe, H-E-B, and Publix, as well as online at Shop.Corazonas.com, Amazon.com, VitaminShoppe.com, drugstore.com, walgreens.com and Costco.com.
