Washington, DC--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--In 2010, Higher Logic, the leading industry provider of private collaboration software for associations, franchises and user’s groups, launched its Higher Logic Learning Series, an educational webinar program. That year, the Learning Series hosted 145 registrants. Just two years later, the Series hosted 1,243 professionals who registered for the Series.
“More organizations are now approaching social collaboration from a holistic perspective”
That growth illustrates the upward trend and desire for web-based educational opportunities for professionals, as well as Higher Logic’s position as a thought-leader in its space.
“More organizations are now approaching social collaboration from a holistic perspective,” said Andy Steggles, President and Chief Social Strategist. “For example, one organization might recognize the SEO value of tying their social platform into their inbound marketing automation system, while another might benefit more from tying in their certification and learning management system. Clearly, it’s not a one-size-fits-all strategy. At Higher Logic, we believe – strongly – in sharing knowledge and our Higher Logic Learning Series is just one way we empower organizations to better understand various topics and implement solutions that address their individual needs and goals. We are thrilled that the webinar series has been so successful – and in this interconnected, global business environment, webinars are here to stay.”
Each hour-long webinar is hosted by Higher Logic leadership, team members, clients or partners and provides an opportunity for attendees to learn the latest trends in an array of topics, including community management, engagement, private social networking and volunteer leadership, among others.
- 462 organizations were represented at Higher Logic Learning Series webinars
- 851 CAE credits were awarded to attendees of the Higher Logic Learning Series
- 38.5% of Higher Logic Learning Series participants were staff members of associations
- 29.9% of Higher Logic Learning Series participants were manager-level or higher
The next webinar being hosted by Higher Logic is titled “The Engagement Games” and is slated for Thursday, Sept. 26 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, Steggles, author of Social Networking for Non-Profits, will share real-world examples of how associations like American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SEP) have leveraged the benefits of discussion groups, libraries, blogs, gamification and knowledge-sharing to drive engagement, promote information-sharing and increase collaboration.
Attendees will learn:
- How AMS/CRM can be used to improve member management and build a knowledge base;
- The different types of collaboration technologies and how they can be leveraged; and
- Practical and relevant measures of success.
