A seasoned film professional with 10 years experience, Rothman oversaw the creative content department at Relativity Media prior to joining Toy Box. There, he worked on theatrical campaigns for the upcoming Luc Besson film starring Robert DeNiro "THE FAMILY" in addition to such films as Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven, Act of Valor, and Immortals. He worked to create targeted, effective and entertaining pre-release marketing content for digital and social media networks, broadcast, Home Entertainment and VOD.

Before joining Relativity Media, Rothman spearheaded content and on-set behind-the-scenes initiatives at Fox Searchlight Pictures for films including Academy Award™ nominated, Juno, Once, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Black Swan, Academy Award™ Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire and behind-the-scenes pieces for HBO’s “First Look.”
Rothman was honored when Harry Knowles of 'Ain’t It Cool News' referenced Rothman’s featurette for Fantastic Mr. Fox with “the award for best pre-release special feature of all time goes to . . .THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX!!!”
