Bornstein, formerly Senior Partner and Director of Global Practices at Ketchum, to lead the firm as its chief executive officer. Current CEO Margaret Booth, for whom the eponymous firm is named, assumes the role of Chairman of M Booth, partnering with Bornstein. Both will report directly to Tim Dyson, CEO of parent company Next Fifteen Communications.

For more than 25 years at Ketchum, Bornstein was a catalyst, playing a critical role in attracting and retaining the caliber of clients and expert talent that defines best-in-class agencies. As Senior Partner/Director Global Practices and a member of Ketchum’s nine-person executive team, she played a key role in setting strategy, championing innovation and creativity, and bringing forward game-changing offerings that helped clients win in the marketplace, including the award-winning, crowdsourcing platform “Mindfire” – a virtual brainstorming tool powered by university students around the world. Under Bornstein’s leadership, the flagship New York office successfully navigated 9/11 and the harsh recession that followed, emerging poised for sustainable growth. Most recently, Bornstein oversaw all of Ketchum’s global practices, networks and centers of expertise and had management responsibility for Ketchum Sports and Entertainment.
A passionate brand builder best known for her creative and strategic insight, Bornstein has worked with a long list of blue chip clients ranging from Frito-Lay, Macy’s, Kodak, and Hershey’s to Pfizer, Unilever, Best Buy, IKEA, ConAgra, and even the Olympic Torch Relay, to name a few. In fact, her global FedEx identity launch event in 1994 was later recreated in the Tom Hanks movie, “Castaway.”
