The conference is being held September 21-25 in Hollywood, Florida.

Ms. Yolin’s presentation is entitled, “Managing the Disruptive Physician: How Joint Commission Standards, the ACGME Milestones and Your Medical Staff Bylaws Can Help Create an Effective System for Addressing Unprofessional Behavior in the Hospital Setting.” Ms. Yolin and her co-speaker, Colleen McMahon, Senior Associate General Counsel at North Shore-LIJ Health System, will discuss best practices for recognizing and addressing disruptive physician behavior, thereby promoting and ensuring a culture of safety in the hospital.
Ms. Yolin focuses her practice on complex healthcare transactions, regulatory compliance, and hospital medical staff and graduate medical education matters. She has extensive experience in health care transactional matters such as hospital joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations. Ms. Yolin’s practice also includes regularly assisting academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, and residency training programs across the country with ACGME accreditation issues, including program evaluations, compliance with the Institutional, Common, and Program-Specific Requirements, and appeals of adverse actions by the various Residency Review Committees of the ACGME.
