SAN FRANCISCO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--ADI Engineering, Inc. today announced the Intel Seacliff Trail SDN switch reference platform supports open-source LINC OpenFlow 1.3 software. LINC implements the latest version (1.3) of the OpenFlow standard, and is available for free under the commercially friendly Apache 2 License. ADI also has released a new development kit for high-performance network white boxes with LINC pre-installed, called Seacliff Trail Development Kit (SCTDK). ADI Engineering will show its LINC-based SCDK at booth 716 at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) Fall 2013, September 10-12 at the San Francisco Moscone Center West.

ADI Engineering’s Seacliff Trail Development Kit allows OEMs to evaluate, develop, and deploy innovative 10G/40G SDN products based on the Intel Ethernet Switch FM6700 family and a freely available implementation of the latest Open Network Forum (ONF) standards. ADI backs the new SCTDK with flexible hardware and software support and customization services, and customer-driven “Open IP” OEM manufacturing.
