All inspections will be done in accordance with applicable national and state standards and requirements. Baker may also provide load rating and analysis services of highway structures and bridges. The project presents the challenge of providing safe and economical bridge inspections in what is possibly the heaviest and most congested traffic in the nation.
“It is a pleasure to serve VDOT, and particularly the NOVA District, in providing the traveling public safe travel over Virginia’s bridges,” said John Coleman, Baker’s operations manager. “Our bridge inspection services allow VDOT to manage their infrastructure in the most economical and efficient manner during a time when tax dollars need to be spent in the most effective way.”
