NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shazam®, the world’s leading media engagement company, today announced it has crossed a major new user threshold – people around the world have used the app over 10 billion times to identify and discover songs, TV shows and ads. The 10 billionth song was Lady Gaga’s new single, “Applause”, which was Shazamed in the U.S. in the city of East Brunswick, New Jersey, via an iOS device.
