RockStar Resources, Inc. is led by a team of mining professionals with extensive experience in U.S. and international mining management, operations, geology and environmental and governmental permitting and compliance. The group is led by Dennis E. Wheeler, the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation, who led Coeur for 25 years, creating an international silver and gold company with mines on three continents.
Mr. Wheeler is joined by other top executives who have helped permit, build and operate mines in North and South America over the past 25 years, including K. Leon Hardy, President and CEO of RockStar. Mr. Hardy is a geological engineer who over his 30 year career has successfully managed operating mines and developed mining projects in some of the most challenging environments in the world, including southern Argentina, the Andes in Bolivia, Southeast Alaska and the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico. Robert “Rick” Richins, Executive Vice President of Environmental Compliance, is a tenured and well-known environmental and governmental affairs expert, and is a recipient of many national and international mining awards. Mr. Richins was instrumental in the successful, multi-year permitting at the Kensington Gold Mine in Alaska, with extensive experience in Idaho, Nevada and internationally.
