MEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Network Health, a nonprofit health plan that provides access to comprehensive health coverage for more than 215,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today that open enrollment for One Care: MassHealth plus Medicare program will begin September 3, for an effective start date of October 1. Massachusetts residents in Worcester and Suffolk counties between the ages of 21 and 64 who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid can enroll in Network Health’s new One Care plan, Network Health Unify, to gain access to high-quality, affordable health coverage coordinated by a dedicated care team.

The goal of Network Health Unify, and the One Care program, is to offer individuals with disabilities who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid a seamless experience. With Network Health Unify, members have one plan, one card, and one person to coordinate their care. This care coordinator will collaborate with a dedicated team of medical, behavioral, and social care management clinicians, to meet each member’s needs.
Network Health Unify members have access to Network Health’s trusted partner and provider network, which includes primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, and community organizations. For managing care around the clock, members can call a free 24/7 NurseLine, or log on to their user-friendly member portal, Network Health Member Connect. To get up-to-date health information or use interactive tools like “Find a Doctor, Hospital, or Pharmacy,” members can access the health plan’s website (also available in Spanish). Additionally, the health plan’s member services specialists are available to help out by phone in more than 170 languages.
