Through Forward Market Media’s proprietary software platform, fans can reserve the right to purchase face-value tickets months before the participating teams are announced, helping to ensure that if their favorite team takes the field come January, they will be there live and in-person to experience it.

The 2013 season is about to start up, and eager football fans from across the country are increasingly looking for alternatives to over-priced, last-minute ticket options. Through this unique forward market system, fans are able to avoid the risk and guarantee one of the highly coveted tickets if their team hits the gridiron at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 2, 2014.
Now in the fourth consecutive year of partnering with Forward Market Media, The Allstate Sugar Bowl has expanded its ticket offerings (Premium Terrace, Plaza, and Terrace level seats) to give fans more options when reserving their seats, helping to give them the best experience possible and ensure they have the access to tickets that they deserve.
Here’s how it works: Football fans from across the nation can go to the official Allstate Sugar Bowl site (allstatesugarbowl.teamtix.com) to purchase a “TeamTix” reservation tied to their team for as little as $10. If his or her team qualifies for the Bowl, that fan purchases the ticket(s) at face-value. If the fan’s team does not qualify for the Bowl, the reservation expires and the reservation fee is forfeited.
Fans can also resell or trade their ticket reservation in the Sugar Bowl’s TeamTix ticket exchange, where reservation prices rise and fall based on each team’s on-field performance and demand for tickets. Additionally, fans can follow the market-specific Twitter account, enabling them to monitor their team’s forward marketplace to buy, sell and trade in real time.
