HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Specialty benefits management provider HealthHelp adds another industry leader to its executive team with the recent hiring of John Golden as Vice President of Client Services.

In this position, Golden will be responsible for providing overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization, reporting directly to Cherrill Farnsworth, CEO and President of HealthHelp.

Golden has more than 18 years of progressive healthcare-related sales, management, and leadership experience. He comes to HealthHelp after nine years at Accredo Health Group, where he rose from regional-based Specialty Pharmacy Account Manager to Vice President, Commercial Sales. During his time at Accredo, Golden was responsible for strategic sales initiatives and programs that resulted in record revenue growth. From a leadership perspective, he was instrumental in the development and growth of a best-in-class sales team.
Prior to joining Accredo, Golden held operational director positions at Sai People Solutions, Inc., and Maxim Healthcare Services. He also has a proven track record of successfully partnering with industry-leading pharmaceutical manufacturers and biotech companies.

Golden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Central Florida. Prior to that, he served four years in the United States Army and US Army National Guard.

- Numerous internal awards for his ability to exceed sales goals during his nine years at Accredo, where he also served as Area Vice President of Sales for south central region and Account Manager for Texas and Louisiana.
