SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Syniverse today inaugurated the company’s new Costa Rica office that will provide technical and support services to customers across Latin America and beyond. By investing more than $2.3 million to establish this state-of-the-art global customer support center, Syniverse has significantly expanded its regional presence and demonstrated a significant commitment to the Latin America region.

The center will provide immediate, localized expertise to help Syniverse customers gain quicker, more cost-efficient solutions for their mobile business needs. This year, Syniverse plans to assemble a staff of 70 at the center and will expand the number of employees in the future.

Local dignitaries, including Costa Rica Minister of Foreign Trade Anabel González and Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE) Director General Gabriela Llobet, attended the inauguration alongside the company´s top executives. Syniverse hosted the event at the new support center, which is located in Avenida Escazú, a major business district in San José.

Syniverse intends to continue the recruiting process for its new support center, focusing on filling technology-support functions. In particular, the company is seeking engineers and computer science majors as well as candidates with experience in telecommunications and technology customer care.
