ROSEMONT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--After demonstrating his wide range of culinary skills and restaurant operation expertise, Chef Rob Johnson has been selected as US Foods’ newest Food Fanatics Chef. The Oklahoma City-based chef will debut his new role at the Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo August 28-29. As part of the show’s activities, Chef Rob will canvas the crowd to highlight the latest Oklahoma food trends and seek out new ones. In addition, he will encourage local chefs and restaurant operators to put their culinary knowledge to the test with trivia and taste test activities at the US Foods Food Fanatics booth.

In addition to highlighting US Foods latest, on-trend products and hosting workshops to identify and create business solutions for restaurant operators, Chef Rob will host culinary inspired games for attendees to play at the Food Fanatics booth, space 119, including “Quick Fire Trivia”, “Fanatics Food Sensory Challenge,” where contestants will be blindfolded and taste US Foods popular Scoop products, and “Celebrity Chef – Who Said This?,” where contestants must identify which celebrity chef has coined a memorable phrase.
