WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Five attorneys from the D.C. whistleblower law and employment firm of Katz, Marshall & Banks, LLP, were recognized as among the best employment lawyers in Washington, D.C., for 2014. All four Katz, Marshall & Banks partners – Debra S. Katz, David J. Marshall, Lisa J. Banks, and Avi Kumin – as well as KMB Of Counsel Daniel B. Edelman, were selected as part of a small group of D.C. attorneys recognized as among the “Best Lawyers in America.”
Four KMB attorneys – Ms. Katz, Ms. Banks, Mr. Kumin, and Mr. Edelman – were selected as “Best Lawyers” in the “Employment Law - Individuals” category. That group consisted of just 22 attorneys in all of D.C., meaning that KMB attorneys accounted for almost 20 percent of the entire city’s top plaintiffs’ employment attorneys, making KMB the most decorated plaintiffs’ employment law firm in Washington, D.C., for 2014. In addition, Ms. Katz and Ms. Banks were both recognized as “Best Lawyers” in the “Civil Rights” category, and Mr. Marshall and Mr. Kumin were both recognized as “Best Lawyers” in the “Litigation - Labor and Employment” category.
