MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vantage Oncology, LLC, a national owner, operator and manager of state-of-the-art radiation oncology centers, announced today that it has acquired Radiation Oncology Services of America, Inc. (ROSA), which owns, operates and manages a total of 17 radiation oncology centers in five states including Georgia, Alabama, Texas, New Jersey and Florida.
“The acquisition of ROSA represents an attractive opportunity to increase the scale and strength of our national footprint and Vantage’s role as a leader in cancer care management”
An acquisition subsidiary of Vantage Oncology acquired ROSA from U.S. Renal Care, Inc., which earlier last week acquired the parent company of ROSA, Ambulatory Services of America, Inc. (ASA), a leading provider of kidney dialysis and other health services. With the acquisition of ROSA, the network of 63 radiation treatment centers in 15 states owned, operated and managed by Vantage Oncology will provide radiation oncology services to approximately 1,450 patients per day.
“The acquisition of ROSA represents an attractive opportunity to increase the scale and strength of our national footprint and Vantage’s role as a leader in cancer care management,” said Mike Fiore, Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Oncology. “ROSA’s emphasis on equity partnerships with leading radiation oncologists is a natural fit with our own partnership model, and its locations serve to further strengthen our position in existing core markets. We look forward to working with our new physician partners and colleagues at the ROSA centers to provide the highest quality of cancer care to more patients at more locations.”
