Paul brings more than 30 years of financial experience to SolomonEdwards including more than 20 years serving as Chief Financial Officer for a diverse array of businesses.

Paul started his professional career as a CPA and has worked for both KPMG and Deloitte. He served as the CFO of Bariston Associates, Inc., a private investment banking firm headquartered in Boston that was spun-off from First Winthrop Corporation. During Paul’s tenure with Bariston, he managed over $380 million in assets and was responsible for deal projection, evaluation and analysis, due diligence report preparation, NASD back office administration, private placement preparation, deal management, investor communications, as well as syndication and all aspects of financial, audit and income tax reporting for the investment banking firm, its consolidated affiliates and its equity investees. He simultaneously served as President and FINOP of Bariston Securities Inc., a wholesale general securities broker dealer.
Additionally, Paul was instrumental in leading Dynamic Healthcare, a healthcare information technology company, from a startup organization to a NASDAQ-listed public company. While serving as the CFO, Dynamic Healthcare completed multiple rounds of both debt and equity financings, implemented a reverse merger, completed an IPO to become a NASDAQ National Markets listed company, and acquired three key technology companies, which redefined Dynamic as a leader in healthcare information technology before the company was successfully sold to Cerner, Inc. He also held CFO positions at a mortgage lender, a real estate brokerage firm, a real estate developer, multiple aviation companies, a computer manufacturer, a PEO, a software company, and a conglomerate.
Paul currently holds an Illinois Life Insurance license, and FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 licenses as a Securities Representative, Investment Adviser and Securities Principal. Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida.
