ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armedia LLC is proud to announce that it has been ranked 2070th on the 2013 Inc 5000 List of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.
“It is an honor to be recognized once more by Inc 5000”
Armedia’s sustained growth has earned the corporation a spot on this illustrious list four times in the company’s 11-year history. Over the last three years, Armedia has produced a growth rate of 180% and more than doubled its number of employees.
"It is an honor to be recognized once more by Inc 5000," said Armedia CEO, Jim Nasr. "This is another positive indicator of our continued performance in meeting our clients' needs, and a testament to the strength and dedication of our team."
This award continues recent momentum for Armedia, who this year has been named the 2013 Alfresco Federal Partner of the Year and been awarded the 2013 Atlanta Business Chronicle Award, for the fastest-growing private companies in Atlanta.
The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the United States economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion. As an Inc. 5000 Honoree, Armedia shares a pedigree with notable alumni, including Zappos, Levi Strauss, Facebook, Microsoft, Dunkin Donuts and Pandora, all of whom have been recognized by the Inc 5000 in previous years.
“The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history,” said Eric Shurenberg, Editor in Chief for Inc. Magazine. “The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent. Those are results most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years.”
The 2013 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2009 through 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. Additionally, a company must have been US-based, privately held, for profit and independent. Revenue in 2009 must have been at least $100,000 with revenue of at least $2 million in 2012.
