RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Associa Sierra North (ASN), an Associa company, congratulates Melissa Robertson, Lisa Nunley and Brian DeLisle for earning the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation through the Community Associations Institute. Achieving the industry’s top accreditation allows them to better provide management services to their local communities and homeowners.
“The rigorous requirement of the PCAM has given them the greatest amount of industry knowledge available, and equips them to confidently provide management services to our boards and communities.”
The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. To earn the PCAM designation, a community manager must have five years of direct community management experience, maintain their Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and pass all six of CAI’s M-200 level Professional Management Development programs, which cover community communications, leadership and governance as well as financial and facilities management.
“Melissa, Lisa and Brian have gone beyond their community management roles to ensure our communities receive the greatest level of service,” said ASN President and CEO Laura Price. “The rigorous requirement of the PCAM has given them the greatest amount of industry knowledge available, and equips them to confidently provide management services to our boards and communities.”
Robertson’s career in the community association management industry began in March 2005. She soon joined the ASN staff in August 2007. Since joining ASN, she has attained the CMCA designation, the AMS designation and the Supervising Community Manager Certificate.
Robertson holds the position of the senior manager and she oversees other managers within the office, coordinates office visits from vendors, and coordinates industry education courses. Before venturing into the world of Community Association Management, she spent four years active duty in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany for a few years.
Nunley obtained her Nevada Community Manager’s Certificate in 2006. Prior to that, she worked 15 years in residential and commercial real estate property management in Nevada and California. She is currently the onsite community manager at Tanamera Condominiums HOA, a 440-unit gated resort-style condominium community.
Nunley resides with her husband, Delbert, north of Reno/Sparks in Spanish Springs, Nev. She enjoys visiting the small family-run wineries of Fair Play, CA and visiting with family and friends.
DeLisle is one of the most senior employees at ASN, having started more than 10 years ago when he moved from New England. He has managed nearly every property in ASN’s portfolio and also carries a wealth of valuable non-community management experience. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he formerly was a self-employed businessman and also had overseas management experience from his time in Kuwait.
DeLisle carries three associate’s degrees and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in business management. He is a past chair of the CAI Northern Nevada Committee, past president and current treasurer of the Reno Sunrise Rotary club and is a volunteer coach in local youth leagues.
