SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Medical device company Pivot Medical, Inc., innovator of advanced hip arthroscopy solutions, announced today that respected industry leader Kevin Sidow has joined the company’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Kevin Sidow, President and CEO of Moximed, Inc., has more than 20 years of experience in the orthopedic medical device market. Before assuming the reigns at Moximed, he was President and CEO of St. Francis Medical Technologies, Inc. (SFMT), a privately held company that developed innovative treatments for patients suffering from degenerative spinal disorders. SFMT was sold in January 2007 to Kyphon, Inc., for $725 million. Prior to joining SFMT, Mr. Sidow was the Worldwide President of DePuy, Inc., where he oversaw the global orthopedic, spine, trauma, and sports medicine businesses.
