DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Tessitura Network, the leading provider of technology, services and knowledge sharing for arts and cultural organizations worldwide, announced the next iteration of Tessitura’s “Innovator Series,” an online series for forward-looking industry leaders to share their ideas, best practices, and discoveries in brief, content-rich, thought-provoking presentations.
“As the positive response to the first of Tessitura’s Innovator Series exceeded expectations, we look forward to the continued growth and reach of this program”
Inspired by the demonstrated value of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing within the open community of Tessitura users, this webinar series, offered at no cost, was launched in May 2013 and takes place quarterly. In addition, presentations are recorded and available to the public on the Tessitura Network YouTube™ channel to expand and extend the accessibility of these powerfully innovative ideas. Past presentations are available @ http://www.youtube.com/user/TessituraNetwork
The second Innovator Series webinar is August 28, 2013. Presenters and their topics include:
- Sherri Barry, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Arizona Science Center, will present “From Anonymous Visitor to Member of the Family: Harnessing Data to Drive Customer Loyalty,” which will focus on how organizations gather information about their visitors in order to build long-term loyalty.
- Sara Billmann, Marketing & Communications Director for University Musical Society at the University of Michigan, will present on “Growing Your Audience with Consumer Psychology,” which explores recent research on behavioral economics and how it relates to audience behavior.
- Rob Greig, Chief Technology Officer for the Royal Opera House and a member of the Tessitura Network Board, will present on “Embracing the Semantic Web.” Semantic Web, content designed to be better understood by machines, is a modern reality at the Royal Opera House, allowing Greig to discuss how they’ve created a sustainable, efficient way to manage their website.
Each speaker will present for approximately 15 minutes, and filmed versions of each talk will be released through the Tessitura Network YouTube™ channel in the weeks following the webinar.
