PIKEVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jean R. Hale, Chairman, President, and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ:CTBI) is pleased to announce that Kevin J. Stumbo has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer.
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Stumbo will oversee corporate financial reporting, general accounting, budgeting and forecasting, purchasing, asset/liability management, and wire transfers. In addition, Mr. Stumbo serves as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., Executive Vice President of Community Trust Bank, Inc., and Vice President of Community Trust and Investment Company.
Mr. Stumbo has been with Community Trust for more than 18 years. During that time, his positions have included General Accounting Manager and Controller. Prior to working for Community Trust, Mr. Stumbo was CFO of Our Lady of the Way Hospital and CFO of First Guaranty Bank, both located in Martin, Kentucky.
Mr. Stumbo graduated from McDowell High School in McDowell, Kentucky. He then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Mr. Stumbo is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), and he serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Council on Economic Education. Mr. Stumbo resides in Pikeville, Kentucky.
