PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Boyden, a global leader in executive search with more than 65 offices in over 40 countries, announced today that Andrew Gardner, an expert in leadership solutions for digital marketing and healthcare, has joined Boyden as a Managing Director in Philadelphia. His practice will be affiliated with Boyden’s Pittsburgh office.

Prior to Boyden, Mr. Gardner was co-founder and owner of a top digital and integrated marketing recruitment firm. The firm became known as the “go-to” resource for some of the biggest and best-known agencies and Fortune 1000 companies. His clients have included Sapient, Vanguard, Orkin, Luxus, and Propane Studio.
Drawing on his background in healthcare, Mr. Gardner has recruited senior-level executives in medical practices and ambulatory surgery centers.
Prior to his career in executive recruiting, Mr. Gardner held senior management positions in digital marketing, business development, product management, and mergers and acquisitions. He served as Vice President, Customer Insight Group at Razorfish, where he oversaw the User Experience and Data Analytics departments.
Previously, Mr. Gardner was Executive Director of Business Development at the Educational Testing Service (ETS). He joined ETS after founding Dolphin, Inc., a highly successful educational software company, which won multiple industry awards. In 1999, he sold Dolphin to the American Education Corporation.
Mr. Gardner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Yale College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude. He studied at Oxford University, where he conducted educational research. He later attended the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, where he founded Dolphin.
