(SiSoft™), today announced that it is collaborating with Tektronix to bring full support for silicon-specific IP models developed using the IBIS-AMI modeling standard to the SDLA Visualizer software package from Tektronix. Engineers from both companies are working together to validate the IBIS-AMI implementation in Tek’s new SDLA Visualizer framework using real-world data from both simulation and measurement. The joint effort by the two companies will ensure that lab measurements can be post-processed to accurately predict link behavior at test points that are physically inaccessible, and ensure that SiSoft simulation tools provide accurate post-route validation of full system-level designs before PCB fab-out. The combination of simulation and measurement provides a closed-loop design process that improves design predictability and ensures projects meet tight design schedules.
