ASPEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marley’s Mellow Mood is bringing the party to downtown Aspen on January 24-27, with its third annual Marley Safe House at Crystal Palace. Two of reggae’s master performers are taking to the stage to bring the Marley vibe to those attending this year’s winter events.
Matisyahu takes time out from his Spark Seeker acoustic tour to bring his soulful brand of music to the Marley Safe House on Saturday, January 26. Recognized the world over for blending traditional Jewish themes with a fusion of reggae, alternative rock and hip hop beats, Matisyahu has received multiple Grammy nominations including Best Reggae Album in 2007.
Ky-Mani Marley, the second youngest of Bob Marley’s eleven children, takes center stage at the Marley Safe House on Sunday, January 27. A Grammy-nominated artist known for his unique style of rock/soul/hip-hop infused reggae sound that transcends cultural lines, Ky-Mani is also an accomplished actor with several films under his belt. He has toured with Van Halen and performed major festivals the world over, and his new album, Evolution of a Revolution, is due out later this year.
The Marley Safe House is also open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The venue offers a fun and relaxed environment, free samples of Marley’s Mellow Mood, prizes and giveaways, and is Wi-Fi enabled for bloggers, journalists and social media mavens. The Marley Safe House is located at 300 E. Hyman Ave., Aspen, CO.
