NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG LLC, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading and related brokerage services, has opened a new office in Atlanta dedicated to the Southeast region. This is the latest of BTIG’s moves to strengthen its local presence in key regional markets.

The new office is located in Atlanta’s Buckhead district and is headed by Beatrix Kondor. Kondor joins BTIG from Knight Securities. She is a 20-year veteran in institutional sales, having spent the past eight years in Knight’s Atlanta office and also having served at Merrill Lynch and Kidder Peabody.
BTIG plans to staff the Atlanta office with four or five additional hires in the next few months. The office will offer clients the complete range of BTIG’s services and products.
Kondor, who has lived in Atlanta for over a decade, has strong personal ties to the Southeast. She’s a current board member and the past president of the Georgia Securities Association. “I’m excited to bring BTIG and all its offerings to the Southeast Region,” she says. “We’re going to be a great fit for a place I’m glad to call home.”
