WIXOM, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CTS North America, a market leader in providing check capture and cash handling solutions to the financial services industry, announced CTS Onepoint™, a new option available on the LS150 teller scanner that enables a receipt printer or other USB device to be connected and powered through the scanner.
“Industry analysts see a surge in demand for teller capture, but for institutions maxed out on ports and power, the cost of upgrading these resources puts teller scanner deployment out of reach”
CTS Onepoint reduces costs and increases functionality at the teller window by using the LS150 scanner to eliminate the need for an additional power receptacle and workstation USB port. It addresses the competing priorities of increased teller efficiency and reduced branch operating costs by reducing power consumption, space requirements, IT and helpdesk support costs, and training time.
CTS Onepoint may be used with any USB-connected device. Both the scanner and connected device are always active and available. Also, CTS Onepoint can be deployed with multifunction versions of the LS150 enabling institutions to further consolidate existing teller peripherals.
“Industry analysts see a surge in demand for teller capture, but for institutions maxed out on ports and power, the cost of upgrading these resources puts teller scanner deployment out of reach,” said Glen Fossella, COO, CTS North America. “CTS Onepoint allows banks and credit unions to add the LS150 to each teller station using existing resources. Plus the ID reader and magstripe options can bring more functions to the teller window in the same small package.”
In conjunction with Onepoint, CTS’ wide range of scanners provides unrivaled durability and advanced image processing features for improved quality and compression. From a reduced footprint at the retail level through compact technology to a streamlined back-office with high-volume check processing capabilities, CTS products are engineered to add efficiency across the entire organization.
