MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Daintree Networks, Inc., the leading provider of networked wireless control solutions for smart buildings, today announced that George Stringer has joined the company as Vice President, Channel Development and Marketing.
“Daintree’s value proposition is powerful for end-users, channel partners, device manufacturers, and the smart building industry as a whole. I’m pleased to be a part of its growth, and to help facilitate the merging of lighting with smart building controls.”
With over 16 years of senior management experience at Acuity Brands, one of North America’s largest lighting and controls manufacturers, Stringer brings to Daintree a deep understanding of the lighting industry and considerable experience in channel creation and development. Daintree’s ControlScope solution enables smart building capabilities in commercial, industrial, and multi-site retail locations, frequently built on a wireless network of lighting products, with intelligence extending to other building control and monitoring functions. At Daintree, Stringer’s experience in both lighting and channel development will accelerate the advancement of Daintree’s industry-leading channel program with existing value added resellers, the creation of new high-volume channels, and the expansion of solution-based marketing.
“I’m looking forward to helping Daintree build a world-class channel network so we can continue to fulfill the rapidly growing demand for standards-based smart building controls,” said Stringer. “Daintree’s value proposition is powerful for end-users, channel partners, device manufacturers, and the smart building industry as a whole.
