(NASDAQ: FMNB) announced today its inclusion in the MSCI US Micro Cap Index http://www.msci.com, which represents microcap companies in the U.S. equity market and targets for inclusion the lowest 1.5 percent of the U.S. equity market capitalization. This weighted stock index fund measures the performance of the micro-cap segment of the US equity market. Of the ten sectors that comprise the index, financials account for 34.25 percent. The index is reviewed quarterly in February, May, August and November.

Index funds using the MSCI US Micro Cap Index may rebalance their portfolios based on the new companies included in the Index, which could result in additional trading activity in FMNB’s shares. This is the first time FMNB has been included in the MSCI US Micro Cap Index since its stock was first listed on NASDAQ on September 15, 2011.
