NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Variable annuity innovator Jerry Golden, today announced the launch of Golden Retirement Advisors (GRA), a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), and the selection of the Intelligent Variable Annuity offered through TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company as its platform for investing personal retirement savings.

At accumulations of between $100,000 and $500,000, the account’s fee of 0.35 percent for the first 10 years and 0.1 percent thereafter is well below the 1.34 percent average that Morningstar reports as the average for annual variable annuity fees.

These portfolios fit into the Savings2Income (S2I) planning method GRA has adopted for creating its plan for retirement income.
GRA believes that S2I is a superior planning method for the underserved middle and mass affluent investors it is targeting, particularly those whose retirement savings have been hardest hit in the current economy.
