SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janus Assurance Re proudly announces the graduation of Constantin Poindexter from the Reinsurance Scholar Program, having become the first Dominican to be given the honor and one of sixteen individuals worldwide to have received the certificate. On November 8th, the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) awarded Poindexter the Reinsurance Scholar designation. The designation signifies that the recipient has attended no less than five, multi-day instructional sessions held in Bermuda, Chicago and New York, and completed coursework in five distinct reinsurance areas. The mandatory blocks of instruction include reinsurance fundamentals, claims and loss management, designing contracts and treaties, financial analysis and underwriting.
