The Power Rangers will make an appearance at the Toys ’R’ Us’ 2012 Uniformed Firefighters Association Widow’s and Children’s Holiday Party, in addition to paying a surprise visit to a HELP USA shelter for the homeless. Finally, the heroes of the brand’s newest series, Power Rangers Megaforce, will make their official debut in the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Power Rangers kicked off the Thanksgiving celebration at the annual Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) Widows’ and Children’s Holiday Party. The Power Rangers participated in the festive reprieve for these families at the Toys ’R’ Us store in Times Square on Sunday, November 18, 2012.
Saban Brands will continue to support the season of giving by partnering with HELP USA, an organization that provides housing and supportive services for the homeless. On Tuesday, November 20, the Power Rangers will visit HELP Morris Shelter in Bronx, NY. Starting at 2pm, the Rangers will welcome the shelter’s 250 children as they return from school with a surprise visit. While receiving holiday gifts, the children will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the Power Rangers. With celebrity guests and HELP USA, the Power Rangers will also provide Thanksgiving dinner to the shelter’s 900 residents.
At the end of the exciting week of festivities, fans will see the all-new Power Rangers Megaforce Rangers for the first time on television during a special performance as part of the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, airing on NBC on Thursday, November 22 from 9am-noon. Power Rangers Megaforce will kick-off the franchise’s 20th anniversary on television with new episodes premiering in early 2013 on Nickelodeon. Go Go Megaforce!
