The VS-501 provides low phase noise clock signals to high speed data converter applications. This product will be showcased in Hall B5, Stand 237 at the Electronica 2012 Show in Munich, Germany from November 13-16th 2012.

Data converters are evolving to reach higher speeds and enabling architectural evolution in the way that high throughput data is processed in the digital domain. High speed Digital to Analog Converters (DAC) can now output RF signals directly, removing the need for analog up-conversion stages and allowing for true software defined radio architectures. High speed ADCs are making coherent optical communications a reality.

The VS-501 provides ultra low phase noise performance in the 800MHz to 2.5GHz range with noise floors as low as -164dBc/Hz and integrated phase jitter at 12fs rms in the 12kHz to 20MHz band.
