ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Rampart, an Associa company, proudly announces that three of its communities – Pointe Alexis, Wellington at Seven Hills and Redington Reef – have been selected as finalists in the 2012 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards.
“It is a great honor to be selected as a finalist for four Florida Communities of Excellence Awards categories”
Pointe Alexis is nominated in the ‘Civic Volunteerism and Advocacy’ category. Competing against other Florida communities, this category is judged on how well communities support local and regional nonprofit and charitable causes. Pointe Alexis is also nominated in the ‘Safety and Security Initiatives,’ presented by Envera, where it will be judged on how well its programs protect and ensure the safety of residents and property within the community.
Wellington at Seven Hills is nominated in the ‘Florida-Friendly Landscaping’ category. Wellington, along with other Florida communities, will be judged on its environmentally sound landscape, wetland, preserve, and lake management policies, including Florida-Friendly Landscaping.
Redington Reef is nominated in the ‘Financial Innovation’ category and will be judged on its policies and procedures set to ease the impact of financial burdens during challenging economic times.
“It is a great honor to be selected as a finalist for four Florida Communities of Excellence Awards categories,” said Bill Osburn, president and CEO of Rampart. “Pointe Alexis, Wellington at Seven Hills and Redington Reef are strong communities that succeed in providing the highest level of service and programs available in the community association industry. These awards are positive reinforcement that we thrive in serving our clients with the most superior services.”
Winners will be announced March 30 at the Fourth Annual Florida Communities of Excellence Conference and Awards Ceremony at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Conference Center. The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards are the ultimate honor for community associations in the state of Florida. Communities can submit themselves to be judged in one of the many categories, including family friends programs and initiatives, energy and water conservation, and safety and security.
The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards is the only statewide, independently judged program recognizing community associations for best practices and accomplishments who set the standard with programs such as disaster preparedness, environmental protection, water & energy conservation, community relations, financial innovation or safety & security. The awards are sponsored by the Florida Community Association Journal and Becker & Poliakoff.
