Federman & Sherwood Announces Filing of Lawsuit against Equifax, Inc.

OKLAHOMA CITY--()--The first class action lawsuit was filed against Equifax, Inc. relating to the cybersecurity incident. The complaint alleges that Equifax was negligent in failing to protect consumer data and choosing to save money instead of spending on technical safeguards that could have stopped the attack.

Equifax provided a link on their website to enroll for an identity theft program.
