11-member board includes experts from academia, biotechnology, economic development and professional services

SAN DIEGO--()--Biocom, the Life Science Association of California, announced today the formation of its Los Angeles advisory board with leading experts in business, academia, economic development and professional services. The 11-member advisory board will help guide Biocom’s Los Angeles office in its strategic vision to serve the large and growing life science industry in Los Angeles.

“In the year and a half since we launched our LA office, our advocacy efforts and support of elected and appointed officials have created a new awareness of the economic impact and high potential of the life science industry in LA.”

“Each of the accomplished leaders who have joined our board has deep ties to the LA life science industry, and their guidance on our strategic vision will be invaluable as we build on the success of our programs and services already benefiting our members,” said Dina Lozofsky, executive director of Biocom’s downtown Los Angeles office. “In the year and a half since we launched our LA office, our advocacy efforts and support of elected and appointed officials have created a new awareness of the economic impact and high potential of the life science industry in LA.”
