GLASSBORO, N.J.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Critical Environments Group (CEG), a leading provider of data center and critical environment infrastructure optimization solutions, today appointed Sam Morrow as its Executive Vice President of Sales. In this role, Morrow will lead all areas of sales including Direct and Indirect Sales, as well as the Company’s Maintenance and Service Sales Programs.
“I plan to incorporate that ‘end-user perspective’ into the way we connect with, sell to and develop solutions for our reseller partners and customers.”
“CEG is excited to have Sam join our team, someone with not only decades of sales management experience, but also a unique perspective of our industry,” says Mike McClain, CEO of Critical Environments Group. “Sam’s previous experience with technology and software companies will give us valuable insight into the mind of the data center decision makers.”
Prior to joining CEG, Sam spent 25 years working in the Cloud and Enterprise market with companies including Navisite (a Time Warner Cable company), CenturyLink, Comcast, Level 3 and AT&T, achieving a track record of sales success in varying roles. Most recently, as General Manager of National Cloud Sales with Navisite, Sam and his team were successful in building a sales organization supporting 3000 business class sales professionals to include Cloud services, Managed Services and Professional Services in their offering.
“For years, I’ve worked for and with companies that utilize the data center. Now I’m part of the team that builds and optimizes them,” says Morrow. “I plan to incorporate that ‘end-user perspective’ into the way we connect with, sell to and develop solutions for our reseller partners and customers.”
Morrow will operate from CEG’s Austin, Texas office. As the Company expands its reach to the Western and Central United States, his location is ideal for facilitating that growth.
