SHANGHAI--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--With an expanded display of environmental technologies and products, IE expo China 2017 will be open on May 4-6, 2017 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre with a 80,000m2 exhibition area, 1,500 exhibitors and over 200 speakers.
The output value of China’s environmental industry by 2020 will exceed RMB2.8 trillion (US$404.4 billion) with an average annual growth rate of above 15%. “As the structural reform continues to reshape China, the environmental industry will experience a robust boost and enter an M&A phase as investment floods in. This sector will need to further complete the industry chain, increase the cost-effectiveness and make vertical integration to address the profit-making pressure in a more mature market,” said Zhao Lijun, head of China Environment Chamber of Commerce (CECC).
As Asia's leading environmental show, IE expo China offers an effective business and networking platform for Chinese and international environmental professionals. This year, as China reaffirms its determination to battle against pollution, the event will feature an increased exhibition size and enhanced value-added services highlighting water & sewage treatment, waste management, site remediation, air pollution control and air purification.
In 2017, the number of exhibition halls will increase from 6 to 9 to accommodate more key players such as Veolia, SUEZ, Huber, KSB, VAG, Andritz, Heyl, E+H, Dow, EISENMANN, Durr, Heraeus, Zoomlion, BHS, ENSA, TITECH and ALLU. Apart from Italy, Germany, USA, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan and Switzerland, more countries and regions will set up pavilions this year, namely EU and Austria, to jointly advance technologies and expand business.
Apart from the 3rd edition of Innovation Pavilion and Exchange Symposium, IE expo China 2017 Matchmaking Meeting on International Environmental Technology will also be held to closely connect trade buyers with technology providers and boost effective communication.
IE expo Summit Forum will be upgraded to IE expo China Environmental Technology Conference 2017, to cover more pragmatic and interesting topics such as Policy Bonus and Market Opportunity under Ecological Civilization System Reform and How to Use Innovation to Boost Environmental Protection Enterprise Internationalization Development. Topics like urban storm water treatment, seawater desalination and membrane technology, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) control, etc. will be featured at sub-forums.
