TOKYO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Toshiba Corporation’s (TOKYO:6502) Storage & Electronic Devices Solutions Company today announced the launch of a new line-up of high voltage intelligent power devices (IPDs) in small-size packages for use in various fan motors including air conditioners, air cleaners and pumps. Utilizing the latest Toshiba MOSFET technology, the new IPDs achieve high voltage and low power loss in a newly developed small-size surface mount “SOP30” package, measuring only 20.0mm x 14.2mm. It has approximately only half the mounting space of Toshiba’s current package , which can contribute to smaller and thinner sets.
