LAS VEGAS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Great Basin Virtual Academy (GBVA), a full-time online public school program authorized by the White Pine School District, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2017-18 school year. GBVA is open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade throughout the state of Nevada.

GBVA gives Nevada students the chance to learn in the ways that are right for them with an individualized approach to learning. The school offers courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world languages, art and music.
At GBVA, state-licensed teachers provide instruction, guidance and support and interact with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face meetings. As a public school option, there is no tuition.
