Mayor Riordan, Sen. Gloria Romero and Civic Leaders Join Measure S at Downtown L.A. Press Conference Monday, March 6th, 10:30 a.m.

LOS ANGELES--()--Tomorrow morning, Monday, March 6, at 10:30 a.m., the ‘Yes on Measure S’ campaign is holding its final press conference at the Bandstand de Los Angeles near Olvera Street in downtown LA, with campaign leaders including former Mayor Richard Riordan, famed renters’-rights attorney Elena Popp, State Sen. Majority Leader Gloria Romero (Ret.), former Los Angeles City councilman Bob Farrell, and other civic luminaries.

The battle to end pay-to-play planning in City Hall and to require open-government reforms of those deciding what L.A. becomes has garnered national attention.

Yes on Measure S is holding our City Hall leaders accountable to the promises they made, that tend to die in committee once the pressure is lifted.

Measure S will make sure meetings between developers and city leaders are transparent, the General Plans and Community plans are updated and Environmental Impact Reports are done independently from the developers.
